Luis Advíncula will leave Boca after agreeing to rescind his deal during pre-season as work continues in the transfer market.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the Peruvian right-back reached a full agreement with Juan Román Riquelme and Marcelo Delgado to terminate a contract that was due to expire in December, ending a four and a half year spell.

He made 169 appearances and won four trophies, shining across several seasons, with a high point in the 2023 Copa Libertadores when he scored in the final against Fluminense.

Form then dipped, he lost his place to Juan Barinaga and was competing with Lucas Blondel for the right-back role.

Off the pitch, he was involved in a car accident in October last year, left the scene and was reported to the authorities.

He trained with the squad until his final day.

His next move is in Peru, with everything agreed to join Alianza Lima on a three-year contract, where he will be a team-mate of Paolo Guerrero, who influenced the decision.

The exit does not open a foreign slot, as he obtained Argentine citizenship at the end of 2024. Miguel Merentiel also counts as local after naturalising in May last year.
