Luis Diaz arrives in Munich ahead of Bayern transfer | OneFootball

Luis Diaz (29) has arrived in Munich ahead of his proposed move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich. The Colombian attacker was spotted by Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau, who added that despite a near 14-hour journey from Tokyo, Diaz will undergo his medical and contract signing with the Rekordmeister later today.

This comes after Bayern Munich reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign Diaz for a reported €75m (£65.5m). After signing a four-year contract, the 29-year-old will earn an annual salary of €14m.

Bayern Munich went into the transfer window with signing a left-sided attacker a priority and after missing out on several targets such as Bradley Barcola, Cody Gakpo and Rafael Leao, settled on Liverpool’s Diaz who played 148 games across all competitions under Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot, scoring 41 goals and providing 23 assists following his €49m transfer from Porto in January 2022.
