Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has explained that analysing Atalanta ahead of their Champions League meeting on Wednesday evening will not be particularly straightforward given the relatively recent appointment of Ivan Juric.
Atalanta get their 2025-26 Champions League campaign underway in difficult circumstances, away against the reigning European champions, PSG, at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night.
Luis Enriqe has already completed his pre-match media duties, having sat down for his press conference in Paris on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spaniard was asked by journalists as to what he expects to see from Atalanta on Wednesday night, but given their change from Gian Piero Gasperini to Juric over the summer, there is no straightforward answer.
“It’s difficult to answer given that they’ve changed coach and have only played three matches since then,” Luis Enrique said. “It will be difficult to predict their moves.

“Thinking about previous years, they’ve been a team that presses high and knows how to play on the ball with quality players. It’s always difficult to face Italian teams. You need to adapt to the opponent’s style, this is one of our strengths.”
Luis Enrique was also asked how challenging it has been to keep his players motivated after guiding them to Champions League glory just a few months ago.
He said: “The players are ambitious and they enjoy playing football. They’re like kids who never stopped playing. They love their work.”
