Luis Suarez finished as the Portuguese league’s top scorer with 28 goals for Sporting CP.
According to L'Équipe, he arrived in Lisbon last summer to replace Viktor Gyökeres, Sporting’s attacking leader in recent seasons. He did not disappoint.

The Colombian finished five clear of runner-up Evangelos Pavlidis of Benfica. The 28-year-old registered 37 goals in all competitions.
His campaign included a standout January display, when he scored in the 74th and 90th minutes to beat PSG 2-1 in the league phase of the Champions League.
The former Marseille forward featured for the French club in 2022-2023.
