Luiz Araújo starts as Pedro named on Flamengo bench for Lanús trip

According to Globo.com, Flamengo have confirmed their line-up for the Recopa Sudamericana first leg away to Lanús, with Pedro among the substitutes.

Filipe Luís has selected a side without a recognised centre-forward for the match at La Fortaleza, which kicks off at 21:30 Brasília time.

The forward line features Luiz Araújo, Cebolinha, Carrascal and Arrascaeta, offering a more mobile attacking shape.

In defence, Varela returns after an ankle issue, while Alex Sandro, Léo Pereira and Léo Ortiz are back having been rested against Botafogo in the Carioca.

In midfield, Paquetá is again used as the second midfielder in place of injured Jorginho, a role in which he has produced his best performances of this second spell.
