The Spurs youngster is attracting interest from top European clubs
Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic has admitted he is “torn” about his future heading into next season.
Vuskovic has impressed on loan at Bundesliga side Hamburg this season and has attracted interest from European giants Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
The Croatian defender is currently set to return to Spurs but has previously stated his desire to remain at Hamburg and play alongside his brother, Mario, who is currently serving a drugs ban.
Vuskovic, who has been called up to Croatia’s World Cup squad, will not be short of options this summer, and he admits he faces a difficult decision regarding his future.
“I’m torn,” he told German publication BILD, via SportWitness.
“On the one hand, I’m happy because a lot of what was agreed upon with Tottenham has come to fruition in Hamburg. But I’m also sad because I really want to stay here.
“As you know, it’s my wish to play for HSV alongside my brother Mario. But in football, you can’t have everything you want. I’ll be a Tottenham player again starting this summer.”
Vuskovic wants to stay at Hamburg next season, but he also acknowledges that Spurs may want to keep him and says he would have no issue with coming back to the club.
“I don’t know, I’m neither an agent nor a club official,” he added.
“But if there’s a chance, I’d like to stay. Time will tell what happens. But of course, if Tottenham has me firmly in their plans, that would be a very good situation for me. The most important thing for my development is that I play regularly.”

In an ideal world, Spurs would likely want to integrate Vuskovic into the first team next season.
However, relegation to the Championship could potentially force them to cash in on the 19-year-old.
Vuskovic will not be short of suitors this summer, with Serie A champions Inter Milan also reported to be interested in signing the hotly tipped centre-back.
On the interest in his services, he admitted he was flattered before reaffirming that he was a Tottenham player.
“It’s certainly nice that my name is being associated with such clubs.
“I also don’t know if everything that’s written about me and other clubs is true. I’m a Tottenham player. We’ll see what happens in the summer.”
