Magdeburg extend two more contracts after tying Zukowski and Atik to new deals | OneFootball

Magdeburg have agreed new contracts with captain Dominik Reimann and centre-back Tobias Müller on Friday, following deals for top scorers Mateusz Zukowski and Baris Atik. According to BuLi News, the moves continue their squad building for the upcoming season.

Reimann joined from Holstein Kiel in 2021. He has not missed a game in the past three 2. Bundesliga seasons. The 29-year-old goalkeeper came through Borussia Dortmund’s youth ranks.

Müller has extended his contract until 2028. The 32-year-old has played 192 competitive games for Magdeburg across two spells.

He returned to the club in January 2024 after a couple of seasons with Paderborn.

Magdeburg avoided relegation to 3. Liga last term after big improvements in the second half of the season. They will start their 2. Bundesliga campaign at home to Eintracht Braunschweig next week.
