Algeria are off to a lighting-fast start to their AFCON campaign with Riyad Mahrez scoring less than 90 seconds into their tournament opener against Sudan.
It is the 34-year-old's seventh career goal in the Africa Cup of Nations.
In the opening minute of play, Algeria caught Sudan in transition, allowing Hicham Boudaoui to find Mahrez with a backheel.
Mahrez shifted the ball onto his favoured left foot and calmly slotted into the bottom-left corner.

The former Manchester City star is now his country's leading AFCON, having been previously been tied with Lakhdar Belloumi on six goals.
He will certainly be hoping to add to his tally as the Algerians look to go all the way in the tournament.
