Tyrique George has a long list of clubs interested in him with the January window fast approaching according to reports.

The England under-21 international fell down the pecking order in the summer as Chelsea made five attacking signings.

In fact George saw a £22m move to Fulham fall through on deadline day, something he was understood to be disappointed by.

Tyrique George attracting interest from multiple clubs

After remaining at Chelsea, George has been reintegrated back into the first team picture and has scored three goals in nine appearances in all competitions.

With Liam Delap having been sidelined Enzo Maresca has turned to George and used the 19-year-old as a centre forward.

George scored his first Champions League goal in the 5-1 thrashing of Ajax, but has only played 143 minutes in the Premier League.

It’s believed the expectation is George will likely leave in January, but whether Chelsea can get more than the £22m fee they agreed with Fulham remains to be seen.

The youngster attracted interested from RB Leipzig and Roma in the summer, and Mail Sport have reported the teenager has a long list of clubs interested in him ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

It will be interesting to see whether he pushes to leave, or if Maresca wants to keep him around, but either way it feels like this will be his last season at the club.

Minutes scarce in the Chelsea attack

With Delap back fit again, it’s hard to see where George will get more minutes outside of games in the domestic cups.

If he really wants to develop and reach his potential he needs to go and be a regular somewhere, and the harsh reality is that place won’t be at Chelsea.
