Mainz omit Sheraldo Becker from Conference League squad | OneFootball

FSV Mainz have left Sheraldo Becker out of their UEFA Europa Conference League knockout squad, with only three new registrations permitted after the league phase. According to BuLi News, the club have submitted their list.

The Bundesliga side are already into the Round of 16 after finishing seventh in the standings.

Urs Fischer has named Phillip Tietz, Silas and Stefan Posch as the three additions for the knockout stage. The trio are already well integrated, while Becker only arrived on deadline day.

The 30-year-old has returned to German football on loan from Osasuna, with an obligation to buy dependent on conditions. He previously featured in all three European competitions during his successful spell at Union Berlin.

Arnaud Nordin, Ben Bobzien and Konstantin Schopp have left on loan, making room for the new arrivals. Antony Caci and Benedict Hollerbach are not included as they are sidelined with serious injuries.
