The achievement with Lecce’s youth sector paved the way for his promotion to the first team with whom Dorgu played 57 games, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
“Two and a half years of successes, a path that is the emblem of the Lecce project,” the Serie A side wrote on Facebook, confirming the winger’s move to Old Trafford.
“Good luck, Patrick, make us proud.”
Dorgu has signed a contract until June 2030 at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have an option to extend his stay at the club for a further year.
Dorgu scored three goals and provided one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions with Lecce this term.
