Man City boss Maresca on the futures of Nottingham Forest and Spurs linked duo | OneFootball

Enzo Maresca has not ruled out Man City duo Tijjani Reijnders and Savinho departing the club.

Reijnders is believed to be of interest to Nottingham Forest, while Savinho has been a long-term target for Tottenham.

“He’s a player that is here with us,” City boss Maresca said when asked about Reijnders after City’s 3-1 win over a K-League All Stars team, in which the Dutch midfielder scored.

“The players that are with us until the day that they aren’t with us, it’s my duty to do the best for them. I’m happy with his performance and he’s working good since he came back from his holiday. At the moment I’m very happy with him.”

Savinho was also involved in City’s pre-season win and asked about his future, Maresca says the club must be ready to act if there are more departures.

“In this moment, there is many speculation about our players – Savi is not the only one,” he said.

“While Savinho is here, we’re going to try and do our best to help him how he can improve and then unfortunately we said many times with the transfer window open anything can happen we need to be ready for that.”
