La Liga giants Real Madrid have been made aware of the initial asking price placed on the head of Manchester City star and Blancos transfer target Rodri.
This comes amid confirmation that a significant gap currently exists between the two clubs regarding the midfielder’s valuation.
Rodri has of course been hotly tipped to take his talents back to his home country over the course of the last week. After he was named Player of the Tournament at the World Cup, the brass at the aforementioned Real Madrid made the call to launch an all-out offensive for the 30-year-old.
Talks, in turn, were opened between those in a position of power at The Bernabéu and The Etihad earlier this week.
And as alluded to above, on Thursday, an insight into the potential figures set to be involved in a deal for Rodri have been revealed…
The info comes courtesy of market insider Patrick Berger, who reports:
‘Real Madrid and Manchester City are now in direct talks over Rodri. Manchester City have set an asking price of €75m. Real keen to spend more than €50m. Negotiations are underway, with Rodri keen on a move to Real Madrid.’
