Pep Guardiola’s side looking for response after three consecutive losses
Manchester City have a decision to make over Kevin De Bruyne ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton on Saturday.
The Belgian made a brief cameo during Tuesday night’s shock 4-1 defeat to Sporting in the Champions League following his return from a hamstring injury.
Still, it remains to be seen if Pep Guardiola wishes to risk the playmaker from the start, given the nature of De Bruyne’s issue. The City boss will provide an update at Friday’s pre-match press conference before taking his team to the south coast on Saturday evening.
City, however, can ill-afford another slip-up.
They have lost three consecutive games for the first time since 2018 and the Seagulls will offer a stern test.
