Pep Guardiola drops out-of-form striker amid struggles in front of goal
Erling Haaland is on the bench for Manchester City against Wolves.
Haaland is badly out of form and, after a run of only one goal in his past eight games, Pep Guardiola has dropped his star striker for what is a big game for City in their pursuit of Arsenal in the title race.
In Haaland’s absence, Omar Marmoush leads the line.
Jeremy Doku and Phil Foden are also on the City bench, while Marc Guehi has been handed his Manchester City debut following his £20million move from Crystal Palace.
City have looked shaky at the back in recent weeks so his inclusion will be a major boost for Pep Guardiola.
Guehi to plays alongside Abdukodir Khusanov after Max Alleyne made two errors against Bodo/Glimt with Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol and John Stones all out injured.
Matheus Nunes is fit to return from injury and starts at right-back.
City make five changes from the team that lost 3-1 at Bodo/Glimt in midweek.
Guehi, Matheus Nunes, Marmoush, captain Bernardo Silva and Antoine Semenyo come into the side.
Haaland, Phil Foden, Rico Lewis, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Max Alleyne all drop out.
Injured: Gonzalez, Dias, Gvardiol, Stones, Savinho, Bobb, Kovacic
