The Ivorian registered two assists in the second half, but he was also fantastic with other attributes.

The 22-year-old won 12 duels. He completed 100 percent of his dribbles (4/4) and all four of the tackles he attempted.

He had a passing accuracy of 86%. The Manchester Evening News gave him an 8/10 rating.

Diallo struggled to nail down a regular starting role under former manager Erik ten Hag, but Amorim has trusted him at right wing-back.

The Atalanta graduate repaid the faith with a splendid display against Everton. The onus is on continuing the good form to become an undisputed starter for United.

United have moved within the cusp of the top four with the win. They now face a big challenge on Wednesday night when they visit Arsenal.

Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez are suspended for the game and could be replaced by Manuel Ugarte and Luke Shaw, respectively.

There could be one more change, with Rasmus Hojlund leading the line ahead of Joshua Zirkzee.
