Former Leeds target Noah Sadiki, who turned down a move that would have cost £17.5 million in the summer, is now on the radar of Manchester United and Chelsea, Sky Sports CH reports.
Daniel Farke’s side endured a difficult window and missed a string of targets, with the Congolese midfielder opting to join Sunderland instead.
Chelsea are understood to have contacted Sunderland after the sides met on 25 October to ask about a price. Manchester United had already spoken to the player’s representatives earlier in the season and could turn to him if a deal for Brighton’s Carlos Baleba proves too costly.
Sadiki has impressed on Wearside, starting 15 Premier League matches and posting an average FotMob rating of 6.92.
If that interest develops into formal bids, Sunderland look well placed to bank a profit. For Leeds, who are pushing their PSR limits, missing out on Sadiki also means missing a potential trading upside.
