Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga dominated headlines last summer, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly vying for the Nigerian striker’s signature.
As the calendar flips to 2025, the 26-year-old’s long-term future remains a mystery, fueling speculation about where he might land once the season wraps up.
Currently on loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen has rediscovered the scintillating form that made him a standout during the 2022-23 campaign. His performances are already turning heads, with Europe’s elite clubs, including PSG, expected to circle back for his services.
After a failed permanent exit from Napoli, Osimhen has thrived in Turkey, delivering 13 goals and five assists in just 16 appearances this season—a run that has firmly reestablished his place among the continent’s top forwards.

Téléfoot’s Saber Desfarges reports that PSG’s top priority for the winter transfer window is securing a winger to provide competition for Bradley Barcola. Meanwhile, any pursuit of Osimhen and Rayan Cherki is off the table, with neither player set to join the Parisian club.
Recently, Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo reported that Manchester United are ramping up efforts to sign Victor Osimhen this month. The club aim to negotiate a reduced fee for the Nigerian striker, whose release clause with Napoli stands at £62 million.
United remain determined to land Osimhen, even willing to include Joshua Zirkzee in the deal to sweeten the offer. However, PSG are also in the race for the forward, intensifying the competition.
