In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey revealed that Manchester City are keeping tabs on Gor Mahia youngster Paul Ochuoga. It has been stated that the Mancunian club are eyeing a move to bring the Kenyan talent to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
Ochuoga has come through the youth ranks of Gor Mahia and has done well to establish himself as an important member of their first XI. The 21-year-old has made four senior appearances for the Kenyan giants thus far, but is still waiting to score or create his first goal for them.
The Kenyan talent is one of the most gifted left-backs in his homeland. Therefore, it is no surprise that Man City are keeping a keen eye on him this summer.
However, Ochuoga is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level. Still, the Premier League outfit would be wise to get a deal over the line for him at the end of this season.

Ochuoga is a good tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind clearing his lines when required and is a good passer of the ball.
The Kenyan whizkid can even create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net and is a decent dribbler as well. He is primarily a right-back but can also fill in as a left-back if required. However, Man City would have to be patient with his development before they can get the best out of the player.
Ochuoga would bring more quality and depth to Pep Guardiola’s defence in the long run. At the moment, he would struggle to get into the Mancunian club’s senior team.
However, there is no doubt that he has the potential to be a world-class player in his position someday. Ochuoga is a star in the making, so Man City would be wise to step up their efforts to sign him this summer.
