What Rayan Cherki can potentially add to Manchester City’s play is a tantalising prospect to consider.

Throughout this season Rayan Cherki played as a number 10, or on the left and right wing for Lyon. Although he arguably played his best football this season on the right wing. His dribbling ability and the ability of Cherki to cut inside from the right made him a dangerous player throughout the entire season for Lyon. Perhaps that is the role he could play for Pep Guardiola’s side. He could also play on the left wing or perhaps as a number 10. But outside of his position, what Cherki, the player, could add to Manchester City’s squad is an exciting proposition to ponder.
