Manchester City name Carabao Cup final team to face Arsenal | OneFootball

Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City side to face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final.

The headline news is at centre-back, with Ruben Dias and Marc Guehi ruled out. Dias is sidelined by a hamstring injury, while Guehi is ineligible against Arsenal because he is cup-tied.

The 25-year-old appeared three times for previous club Crystal Palace earlier in the competition.Fellow January signing Antoine Semenyo can play, having been signed prior to the semi-final first leg against Newcastle.

In the absence of that duo, Abdukodir Khusanov and Nathan Ake are paired in central defence. James Trafford starts in goal with Guardiola confirming on Friday that the club’s cup goalkeeper would retain his place for the final.
