According to a report from Fabrizio Romano and confirmed by information from Foot Mercato, RC Lens could benefit from new relations with Manchester City.
The two clubs reportedly established good relations during the negotiations for Abdukodir Khusanov (20), which saw the French side earn a new club-record transfer fee. This new situation could help Lens in the short term as they look for a replacement for the Uzbekistan international.
Romano reports that Manchester City are on the verge of completing a deal with Real Valladolid for the centre-back Juma Bah (18). However, the promising defender may then be loaned out to Lens until the end of the season.
Foot Mercato writes that it would be a useful scenario for Les Sang et Or as they could also lose one of Kevin Danso (26) or Jonathan Gradit (32) by the end of the transfer window, and at this point, their financial situation dictates that they cannot justify spending a lot, despite the transfer fee they received for Khusanov.
