Latest Manchester City injury news.

Pep Guardiola had good news on the injury front during his pre-game press conference on Friday. The Manchester City manager revealed that Rodri and Erling Haaland are available for today’s match after neither player featured during Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Swansea in their fourth-round Carabao Cup tie.

Mateo Kovacic is seemingly the only City player in doubt for today’s match. Pep Guardiola told the media that his team is taking a wait-and-see approach in regards to Kovacic’s availability for today’s match.

Predicted City starting eleven.

Gianluigi Donnarumma: I’d be staggered if the Italian international didn’t start in goal today.

Matheus Nunes: Despite Abdukodir Khusanov returning against Swansea, I expect Nunes to start at right-back. He deserves the start based on his recent performances.

Ruben Dias: Dias is Manchester City’s defensive leader and will have a vital role to play against a quality Bournemouth attack.

Josko Gvardiol: Gvardiol has started at left-back recently, but I expect him to line up alongside Ruben Dias, where he looks more comfortable.

Nico O’Reilly: Today’s match is a big game, and I’d like to see Nico O’Reilly start at left-back given how impressive he’s been in the role this season.

Nico: I can see Rodri being named on the bench today, which should see Nico start in the heart of City’s midfield.

Phil Foden: Foden will have a huge role to play today in midfield. He has been impressive this season, and if he plays well, he could fire City to a massive three points.

Tijjani Reijnders: It is out of Bernardo Silva or Tijjani Reijnders to start in midfield today, in my opinion. I’ll give the nod to Reijnders for today’s match.

Rayan Cherki: Cherki was superb against Swansea. Based on that form, and provided he is fit enough, I can see him starting today.

Omar Marmoush: The Egyptian international scored against Swansea to cap off an impressive display. With his team needing another goal threat I can see Marmoush starting at the Etihad.

Erling Haaland: Haaland seems to be a certain starter today. He’s fit and rested and looms over today’s match.
