In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are determined to recruit Real Sociedad winger Ander Barrenetxea this summer. It is understood that the Red Devils have set their sights on the Spanish wide player ahead of the summer transfer window.
Barrenetxea has enjoyed a good run of form at the Spanish club as he has produced a series of impressive displays for them in La Liga. The 24-year-old has scored four goals and earned five assists in 33 appearances for Real Sociedad this season across all competitions.
The Spanish wide player is currently among the most talented wide players in La Liga, so Man United would do well to lure him to Old Trafford in the upcoming transfer window.
His current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Barrenetxea is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can strike the ball with venom from long range.
The Spanish sensation has already added a few goals and assists to his game this season. However, it remains to be seen whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to snap him up later this year.
We can expect Barrenetxea to bring more quality and depth to Man United boss Michael Carrick’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford next season.
At 24, Barrenetxea has got his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent fit for the Red Devils to pursue at the end of this campaign. However, Carrick has to give him some time to adjust to life in England before he can get the best out of the Spanish wing wizard at the Theatre of Dreams.
