Red Devils have not won the league in 13 years
Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada believes that the Red Devils can win the Premier League title within the next two years.
In a sit-down interview with the club’s official media team, Berrada, who took over as CEO at Old Trafford at the start of last season, set out his objectives for Michael Carrick’s men in the next couple of seasons.
United, guided by Carrick, finished third in the Premier League this season, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since the 2023-24 campaign.
The Red Devils saw their fortunes turn around exponentially once Carrick took over the reins from Ruben Amorim, with the former midfielder installed as the permanent head coach once the season had concluded.

United are targeting a first league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement back in 2013, with the legendary Scot bowing out as a winner, having lifted the title after their 2-1 win at home to Swansea City in his final game at Old Trafford.
Since then, the club have been through 12 managers - including interims - and have not come close to bringing the league title back to the north west.
Instead, they have had to watch on as their neighbours Manchester City lifted seven titles in that period of time.
Now, however, Berrada believes that United are not far off becoming champions again.
"Ideally, we do it next season, and if not, then the following season,” Berrada said.
“I think we're in a good place. We've seen some really good progress on the pitch this season, and we're going to continue building on that.
"We're going to continue investing in different areas of the club.
“There are other objectives off the pitch that we'd like to achieve as well. One of them is to be financially sustainable, to introduce commercial innovation in the club."
