Manchester United are weighing up a move for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde ahead of what promises to be a busy summer transfer window at Old Trafford.

Despite his consistent importance under several Madrid managers—including former boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has described him as ‘sensational’—Valverde’s time in the Spanish capital could be nearing its end.

Reports from Spain suggest Valverde’s relationship with the Real Madrid dressing room has become increasingly strained, and a summer sale would not be opposed.
