Manchester United have agreed a deal to sell Antony to Real Betis for a fee of £21.6m.
Antony spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis and impressed, with all parties keen to secure an extension to his time in Spain.
The La Liga outfit had hoped to agree another loan deal but an agreement on permanent transfer has now been reached. Betis will pay Manchester United a fee of €25m (£21.6m), with an additional €3m in potential bonuses, according to The Athletic.
United have also included a sell-on clause with the Red Devils to receive 50% of any profit Betis make on a future transfer. The deal had appeared in jeopardy as Antony sought compensation for taking a lower salary in Spain.
The Brazil international still has two years to run on his contract at Old Trafford and Betis has threatened to withdraw their offer, if Manchester United and Antony did not agree between them a compensation package.
