In a recent report, The Independent claimed that Manchester United have identified Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly as a target for this summer transfer window. It is understood that the Red Devils are showing interest in recruiting the English defender this off-season.

Lewis-Skelly’s Important Role At Arsenal

Lewis-Skelly played a useful role in Mikel Arteta’s squad last season when he put in a string of solid performances for the Gunners on the left flank. The English talent made 36 appearances for Arsenal in the previous campaign, picking up four assists in the process across various competitions.

The 19-year-old is currently among the most gifted young full-backs in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that the Red Devils are eager to bring him to Old Trafford in this transfer period.

His current contract at the Emirates Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Man United to land him on the cheap this off-season.
