Manchester United are in concrete negotiations over a potential deal for AIK Fotboll striker Kevin Filling, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Man United have recently bolstered their attacking ranks after signing Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha this summer.

The Red Devils have been linked with Red Bull Salzburg attacker Kerim Alejbegovic, and Filling is also on their radar.

The 16-year-old striker has been playing regularly for the Swedish top-flight club despite his tender years, and he could leave AIK in January for around €3 million.

He has scored two goals in seven appearances for AIK this term and has been widely tipped to follow in the footsteps of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexander Isak.

Filling will be expected to link up with the Man United youth teams if he moves in January or next summer, but he could soon be featuring for the first team given his potential.

Isak, who also started his career at AIK, moved to Liverpool from Newcastle United in the summer for €145m (£125m) and the Man United target could command a similar fee in the future.

Signing the youngster for less than £2.7m would be huge for Man United, as they could save millions in the transfer market.
