The forward doesn’t appear to have a future back in Manchester
Marcus Rashford has said he wants to join Barcelona permanently.
Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona after making the temporary switch from Manchester United during the summer transfer window after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim earlier in the year.
The 27-year-old is enjoying a new lease of life in Spain as he has scored five goals and weighed in with six assists in 12 appearances across all competitions so far.
This includes a brace against Olympiacos in the Champions League earlier in the week, following on from netting twice against Newcastle in Barca’s first fixture of the League Phase back in September.
The LaLiga giants have the option of making Rashford’s deal permanent next year and the forward is clear in his mind as to where his future lies.
Asked if he wanted to stay at Barcelona, Rashford told ESPN: "Oh yeah, for sure.
"I'm enjoying this football club and I think for anybody who loves football, Barcelona is one of the key clubs in the history of the game. For a player it's an honour."
Rashford has a contract at Old Trafford until 2028 but it is highly unlikely he will return to his parent club while current Amorim is still in charge.
"People forget this, but 24, 23 years of my life was with Manchester United, so sometimes you just need a change," added Rashford.
"I think maybe this is the case with me and I'm enjoying everything."

Rashford is currently gearing up for his first taste of an El Clasico as Barcelona face Real Madrid this weekend hoping to take top spot in the La Liga table from their bitter rivals with victory.
The England international could start up front at the Santiago Bernabeu with Robert Lewandowski expected to miss out through injury.
Alternatively, Rashford may keep his place on the left-wing despite Raphinha’s return to fitness as Hansi Flick could look to ease the Brazilian back into action after five games out.
