Real Madrid remain active in the transfer market, with the club widely expected to bring in Yan Diomande as their fifth signing this summer, during the course of the week.

At the same time, it won’t be surprising to see a few existing stars leaving as well, knowing Real Madrid may also have to make room for new signings.

One such player linked with a move away from the Bernabeu is Aurelien Tchouameni, with Manchester United, in particular, refusing to give up on the pursuit of the midfielder.

However, according to Manchester Evening News, the club feel any move for Tchouameni is currently not realistic due to the cost of the operation.

Real Madrid, after all, have not clearly stated that they are willing to part ways with the midfielder, though recent reports have indicated that the club might be willing to cash in.

Manchester United feel if Real Madrid were truly interested in selling the player, they would have asked for a realistic fee. But as of now, it appears Los Blancos‘ demands are unrealistic.

Tchouameni remains the dream signing for Manchester United this summer and are still prepared to make an offer for the Frenchman if Real Madrid offer the right signals.

But as things stand, it is now yet known whether Real Madrid have any desire to part ways with the former Monaco starlet and how much exactly they are looking for.

Any decision to sell Tchouameni to Manchester United will be rather surprising for Real Madrid, as it seems new coach Jose Mourinho is ready to count on his services.

It must be remembered that the Frenchman was one of the more consistent players in the Real Madrid midfield last season.

Although Tchouameni has his limitations and has not yet lived up to his potential, he is still a young option, who can provide a lot to the club in the long run.

Real Madrid, instead, should attempt to offload Eduardo Camavinga, although the Frenchman has shown no desire to leave Bernabeu and is ready to fight for a place in the team next season.
