Manu Olivan, a 20-year-old forward developed at Corinthians, is leaving after United States college side Miami Dade College announced her on social media.
The club said in a statement that her contract was rescinded by mutual consent so she can join Miami Dade College for academic and exchange purposes, with no involvement in professional football. Corinthians will not receive a fee.
She asked for her release, which the club accepted, and from Monday she will no longer be under contract. She is due to report at the end of July, with paperwork still to be finalised.
Olivan broke into the Brabas first team in 2022 at 16 and has made 10 appearances, with two starts. She began against Marília in the 2024 Paulista Feminino and later against Realidade Jovem in the next state campaign.
This season she featured three times, coming on in the 8-0 win over América in the Teal Rising Cup and in the 6-0 victory against Red Bull Bragantino in the Campeonato Paulista. She also played in the 2-1 defeat to São Paulo in the same competition.
At under-20 level she appeared in four Brasileirão matches and one in the Paulista, with her last outing on Wednesday as the Brabinhas lost 3-1 to Ferroviária. The Brabas now prepare for the second half without her, with their first official game after the World Cup break set for 17 July against Ferroviária in round four of the Paulista.
