Marc Guéhi completes move from Crystal Palace to Manchester City | OneFootball

Marc Guéhi has completed his move from Crystal Palace to Manchester City, signing a deal through to 2031.

The 25-year-old was confirmed on Monday and will wear number 15. The England defender has 26 caps and one goal. According to Sky Sports, City paid 20 million pounds, 23 million euros, to bring him in this winter.

Pep Guardiola gets the defensive cover he needed after injuries to Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias. Guéhi’s Palace contract had been due to expire this summer.

City have beaten Liverpool to the signing. The former Crystal Palace captain had been set to sign for Liverpool last summer, only for the move to be cancelled at the last minute.

He is Guardiola’s second January recruit after Antoine Semenyo on 9 January. City now chase Arsenal, who sit top of the Premier League with a seven-point lead over the Cityzens.
