Fulham manager Marco Silva has revealed a fresh set of problems, confirming that his side could be without three key players for the Premier League fixture at Bournemouth. Rodrigo Muniz, Kenny Tete and Raul Jimenez are all doubts, raising significant questions over Fulham’s attacking depth and defensive stability.

Muniz, who signed a new five-year deal at Craven Cottage earlier this week, is sidelined with a hamstring injury. The Brazilian forward was forced to miss the 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa and, according to Silva, is not expected to return until after the international break. “Right now, I can assure that Rodrigo is going to be out and Kenny Tete is going to be out too,” Silva admitted. “More than just this game. I believe even after the internationals it’s going to be difficult for them to be ready for the next ones.”
Tete, who signed his contract extension during the summer, is also out with a knee issue. The Dutch defender has endured fitness concerns before but Silva confirmed that surgery will not be necessary this time. “Completely different. It’s the same knee as last season but completely different,” Silva explained. “The first feedback that we got until now, nothing has changed really. We are going to keep progressing him in the same type of recovery, and the surgery is not necessary.”

Jimenez adds to the concern after he was forced off against Villa inside 10 minutes despite scoring the opening goal. The striker will undergo late fitness checks ahead of the Bournemouth trip. Silva told reporters, “On Raul, we have to have a session and we have to make a decision to assess him today again and see if he’s going to be in condition or not. Just later, we have to decide.”

The timing of Muniz’s injury could hardly be worse for Fulham, with the Mexican striker’s potential absence leaves Silva with limited options. Deadline Day signing Jonah Kusi-Asare, an 18-year-old forward on loan from Bayern Munich, remains an untested option. Silva admitted the youngster needs time before making an impact at Premier League level. “I know we signed a young lad Jonah, but he’s very, very, very young and will need more time in my opinion,” Silva said. “He’s a boy who’s just turned 18. The Premier League is the Premier League, it’s demanding. We will see tomorrow. We prepared for the season with Raul and Rodrigo. It’s not the ideal scenario.”

Fulham sit in mid-table but Silva’s injury update highlights the fragility of the squad. Losing both senior strikers at once is a major concern, while Tete’s setback complicates defensive plans. The upcoming international break may offer a chance to recover, yet there is little certainty over when Muniz or Tete will return. Silva himself summed up the mood, calling it a “big miss for us, a big blow for us in terms of two important players, but it is what it is. About how long, we have to wait.”
