PSG players each chose a walk-on track at Parc des Princes to celebrate their double, Marquinhos closing the procession with Nasser al-Khelaïfi to Édith Piaf's "Padam", bringing the trophy onto the pitch.
According to L'Équipe, the 1951 classic, in which Piaf mourns lost love after Marcel Cerdan’s 1949 death, set a nostalgic tone, while Senny Mayulu and Ilya Zabarnyi opted for rap staples with Lacrim's "AWA" and Eminem's "Without Me".
The French-language picks skewed contemporary. Ousmane Dembélé went for Booba's "N°10", the long-time Paris fan, and his name drew the loudest chants, including the now familiar "Et Ousmane Ballon d'Or". Barcola chose Nono la Grinta's "Terrain", Lucas Chevalier picked L2B's "C'est quoi ton délire", and Warren Zaïre-Emery opted for "Parisienne" by Gims and La Mano 1.9.
Matveï Safonov surprised with Fally Ipupa's "Kiname", featuring Booba, a party-starter pledging to get all of Paris dancing and saluting a capital that never sleeps. Ipupa was among those picked to warm up the crowd.
Elsewhere, Désiré Doué showed his moves to Central Cee's "Doja", and Fabien Ruiz saluted Spanish star Rosalia with "Bizcochito". Spanish vibes continued with Bad Bunny's "NUEVAYoL" for Lucas Beraldo and Dayvi's "Baila Conmigo" for João Neves.
Vitinha and Willian Pacho also chose Spanish-language tracks off the beaten path. Achraf Hakimi, first onto the turf, was the only player to use a song bearing his name, Morad's "Paris Como Hakimi", where the rapper says he returns to Paris like Hakimi, almost like home.
The most transportive choice came from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with "Sakhli" by Mgzavrebi and Taha, a Georgian anthem about building a home and keeping hope, echoing the PSG winger's remarkable campaign.
