Marseille are considering making a bid for Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj-Moussa, who came close to joining Benfica in the summer, according to Glorioso 1904.

The Ligue 1 side, who recently beat PSG, are monitoring his situation as they look to bolster their attack, with the Algerian widely viewed by the hierarchy as a leading option.

It could be only a matter of time before an offer is sent to Feyenoord, who were said to have placed several obstacles in Benfica’s path during talks, when Hadj-Moussa was a starter under Robin van Persie.

Benfica held multiple rounds of negotiations but the move did not materialise, making the winger one of the failed pursuits during Rui Costa’s heavy summer outlay.

This season for Feyenoord, Hadj-Moussa has played 23 matches, 15 in the Eredivisie, six in the Europa League and two in the Champions League. Across 1,897 minutes he has seven goals and three assists. He is valued at 20 million euros.
