Marti Cifuentes believes a unified Leicester City squad will make life significantly easier, as Wout Faes heads to Monaco on loan for the second half of the season.
According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, he has urged the club this month to move on players who requested transfers in the summer and still want out.
Harry Winks, not named on the bench since the end of November, remains at the club. There may be other squad members seeking moves.
He stressed professionalism, but said a group united behind a single target makes the job far easier. When individuals would rather be elsewhere, committing to the level required becomes harder, even if those players have trained properly and pushed themselves.
On Faes, he said it was clear the defender wanted to leave and described the outcome as good for everyone, adding he hopes it works out for him.
January business so far has brought only exits, Faes plus Julian Carranza whose loan has been cancelled, and no arrivals. Leicester are among five Championship clubs yet to add, the others being Ipswich, Millwall, Preston and Wrexham, all above them in the table.
