Arsenal will entertain Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon as they hope to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn an impressive 2-0 win away at Atletico Madrid recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Mikel Arteta will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks for this game. Both Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba could get a chance to impress from the start of this contest.

4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester City

Defence

David Raya will feature in between the sticks for the Gunners after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. William Saliba is expected to return and resume his partnership with Gabriel at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Jurrien Timber will function as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Arteta will stick with his favoured midfield three of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create some decent chances in the final third.

Ethan Nwaneri and Christian Norgaard will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.

Attack

Gabriel Martinelli will try to catch the eye on the left flank, while Noni Madueke looks to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player. Viktor Gyokeres will lead the charge for the North London club in the final third. He failed to score in midweek and would be desperate to make a difference for Arsenal this weekend.

Eberechi Eze, Leandro Trossard and Max Dowman will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
