Argentine midfielder Franco Mastantuono is close to completing a loan to Fiorentina after an agreement with Real Madrid on how his wages will be shared.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, he approved the switch on Tuesday, and the remaining hurdle was the salary split, which the clubs have now settled.

The transfer will be a straight season-long loan with no option to buy, and he is due back at the Bernabeu in summer 2027.
Despite four Argentina caps, he will not take up a non-EU slot as he holds an Italian passport.
The 18-year-old, who turns 19 next week, is set to link up with Fabio Grosso’s squad.
