Manchester City will welcome Everton to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they return to competitive club action following the October international break.
Pep Guardiola returns to club duties with his Manchester City side closing in on full strength, and appears to have returned from the latest round of international action without any injuries or fitness issues to contend with.
City are currently on a fine run of form, entering the latest international break off the back of a well-earned 0-1 win away to a challenging Brentford outfit and remain unbeaten since the end of August.
In that time, there have been a number of notable results in addition to the victory at the Gtech Community Stadium, including a 3-0 win over Manchester United, a 1-1 draw away at Arsenal, and a 2-0 win at home to Napoli on matchday one of the UEFA Champions League.
The latest block of fixtures until the November break will see more rounds of Premier League action including a home clash with Liverpool, the fourth round of the Carabao Cup away to Swansea, and Champions League meetings with Villarreal and Borussia Dortmund.
Ahead of the meeting between Manchester City and Everton, the Premier League have now announced the list of match officials to oversee proceedings at the Etihad Stadium!
Ahead of Manchester City’s meeting with Everton at the Etihad Stadium this weekend, the Premier League have confirmed that Tony Harrington has been appointed into the role of on-field match referee.
Harrington will be taking charge of his seventh game of the ongoing season across competitions, having taken on matches in the Premier League, EFL Championship, and Carabao Cup, with 25 yellow cards and one straight red card in that time.
Manchester City have only come across Tony Harrington as their match referee on one previous occasion, with that clash coming during the 2024/25 season and a narrow 1-0 home win over Southampton in the Premier League.
Accompanying Tony Harrington on the field at the Etihad Stadium this weekend will be an assistant referee pairing of Simon Bennett and Steven Meredith, the Premier League have confirmed.
As for those overseeing the contest from Stockley Park and the VAR Hub, the Premier League have appointed Nicholas Hopton into the role of Video Assistant Referee, with Constantine Hatzidakis as the Assistant Video Assistant Referee.
Standing between the two dugouts at the Etihad Stadium for Manchester City against Everton and managing the actions of Pep Guardiola and David Moyes’ respective benches will be referee Leigh Doughty, in the role of fourth official.
