Right-back Oscar Mingueza impresses after 147 games for Celta Vigo. At centre-half, John Stones, 32, played 1,144 minutes in 18 outings yet retains elite experience.
Malang Sarr, 27, excelled for Lens after leaner years. On the left, Raphaël Guerreiro departs Bayern after 95 matches and another domestic treble, a proven multi-role option.
