Max Dowman has won the Premier League Home Grown Debutant of the Season Award after a record-breaking breakthrough campaign with Arsenal.

Max Dowman has won the Premier League Home Grown Debutant of the Season Award after a historic breakthrough campaign for Arsenal, while Andre Harriman-Annous has been named the club’s Scholar of the Year.

Dowman’s award recognises a top-flight season in which he became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history.

The 16-year-old broke James Vaughan’s previous record in March 2026 when he scored against Everton at 16 years and 73 days old.

The goal sealed a crucial Arsenal victory that moved them 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League.

It also made Dowman the youngest goalscorer in Arsenal’s history.

His record-breaking strike saw him run beyond the Everton defence before slotting the ball into an empty net at the Emirates Stadium, prompting huge celebrations and underlining the scale of his impact in his first senior campaign.

The Premier League Home Grown Debutant of the Season Award is given for the outstanding performance of a homegrown player in their first top-flight season.

Dowman’s achievement is particularly notable given his age, with most players making their Premier League debuts several years later.

The England youth international has been described as “magical” after his breakthrough performances this season, and the award caps an extraordinary campaign for Hale End’s brightest prospect.

Harriman-Annous was also recognised, winning Arsenal’s Scholar of the Year award.
