Chelsea may be willing to accept a loan with an obligation for Nicolas Jackson under the right conditions according to Ben Jacobs.

Jackson is expected to leave Chelsea this summer following the arrival of both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, with the Brazilian in-particular making an instant impact.

The Senegal international was left out of the squad for the pre-season games against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan, whilst he was suspended for the draw against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea would be willing to loan Jackson

Jackson is attracting interest from a number of clubs both in the Premier League and Europe, although no official offers have been made for the 24-year-old yet.

Aston Villa are believed to be pushing hard for Jackson, whilst Newcastle have also shown interest, with Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus keeping an eye.

Chelsea are said to value Jackson at around £80m, but it’s thought clubs believe that price can be negotiated down.

The clock is ticking in terms of finding a solution for Jackson, and Jacobs has now provided an update on the situation.

He took to X.com and said:

“Understand clubs interested in Nicolas Jackson are being told a loan with obligation may be possible under the right conditions. £10m loan fee.

“Aston Villa are exploring a deal and a Newcastle or Milan move can’t be discounted.

“Jackson is expected to have several options if Chelsea’s £80m valuation drops south of £70m.”

Chelsea trying to sell Nkunku

Jackson isn’t the only forward Chelsea are trying to move on before the end of the window, with Nkunku also falling into that category.

A move to Bayern Munich is now looking unlikely as the German champions want to do a loan, but Chelsea are insisting on a permanent deal.

There’s a possibility Nkunku could return to former club RB Leipzig, and there’s thought to be confidence a deal can be agreed between the two clubs.
