As one of the hottest prospects to come out of Bayern Munich's academy, Maycon Cardozo sat down to discuss just how special it is to train with the German record champions' first team.

“Being at Bayern is a dream come true, I always say that. Training with these players, playing together, is a dream come true, but I still have many dreams to fulfill,” he told GeGlobo.

“Training with them is a very good feeling, seeing Olise cutting inside, shooting, Luis Díaz in my position, and Harry Kane, a sensational guy, as a player and as a person, always comes to talk to you and give advice,” he added.

Cardozo went on to discuss making his Bayern debut under Vincent Kompany and his decision to represent Brazil over Portugal at international level.

“I prefer to cut inside and shoot, and also play through the middle when needed. I play as a left winger and attacking midfielder. So I'm kind of like Coutinho. People often say I'm like Coutinho.

"First of all, I want to say that I have a lot of respect for both national teams. They are two great teams. Having both nationalities is very rewarding.

"As a kid, I always watched Brazil, also because of Neymar, but I always supported Brazil. My dream has always been to play for Brazil, but I will always be prepared for both national teams.

After Brazil unfortunately lost [against Norway], I decided that come the next World Cup I will do everything to be prepared and to be called up. It's a dream for all players.

“It's my dream, one of the highest dreams, so God willing I will work hard, I will give my best every day so that when 2030 arrives I will be ready to be called up for the World Cup,” he said.
