Mbappe And Trent Get 7.5 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Bayern Munich

Real Madrid entertained Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. Los Blancos made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 41st minute when Luis Diaz found the back of the net. Alvaro Arbeloa’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Harry Kane doubled Bayern’s advantage in the 46th minute. However, Kylian Mbappe got a goal back for the Madrid giants in the 74th minute. The match ended with Los Blancos suffering a tough 2-1 loss at the Bernabeu.

He made a couple of important saves at the back but conceded two goals tonight.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7.5/10
Alexander-Arnold performed his defensive duties well and managed to secure an assist for setting up Mbappe’s goal in the second half.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6/10
He cleared the danger when he could, but failed to keep things solid at the back.
CB: Dean Huijsen – 6/10
Huijsen did his fair share of defending but struggled to impress during his time on the pitch.

LB: Alvaro Carreras – 6/10
He caught the eye at times on both halves, but made a costly error at the back.
CM: Federico Valverde – 6.5/10
Valverde was full of energy and running in the middle of the park.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 6.5/10
He anchored the midfield well but struggled to influence the game going forward.
CM: Thiago Pitarch Pinar – 5.5/10
He failed to get a foothold in the game and was replaced after the hour mark.
RW: Arda Guler – 7/10
Guler got himself into some dangerous areas but failed to take his chances in front of the Bayern goal.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 7.5/10
He was always willing to have a strike at goal and finally managed to find the back of the net in the 74th minute.
LW: Vinicius Junior – 7/10
Vinicius Junior was a real menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.
CB: Eder Militao – 6/10
He was solid at the back.
CM: Jude Bellingham – 6.5/10
Bellingham added some energy to Arbeloa’s midfield.
RW: Brahim Diaz – 6.5/10
