Mbappé’s mother and agent Fayza Lamari is reportedly paid 4.5 million euros net per year under a contract with the Real Madrid forward, a sum that exceeds the earnings of seven team-mates, A Bola reports.

Mbappé joined Madrid after his Paris Saint-Germain contract expired, a free transfer in name only as he became the priciest free agent in football history. The deal carries a 117.5 million euro impact for Madrid, recorded as sporting intangible assets and amortised across five years.

His basic salary is estimated at 14 million euros a year. On image rights he keeps 80%, with 20% to Madrid, an unusually generous split even for a superstar.

Lamari has long driven her son’s career, from contract talks to private matters and sporting planning. She also led the legal dispute with Paris Saint-Germain, which ended with the club ordered to pay 60 million euros in unpaid wages and bonuses to Mbappé’s camp.

She is set to remain closely involved in his Madrid chapter, having bought a home in La Finca in Pozuelo de Alarcón, close to Mbappé’s residence.

Those said to be out-earned include Raúl Asencio, Franco Mastantuono, Gonzalo García, Andriy Lunin, Fran García, Arda Güler and Brahim Díaz.
