Kuhn unsurprisingly attracting attention already. But he’s going nowhere. Especially for the reported price tag. Nicolas Kuhn has had a terrific start to the season, and that is reflected in his stats of 7 goals and 10 assists in just 15 games.

Nicolas Kuhn a Celtic fans favourite

Nicolas has gone from being thought of by some as a duff signing to being one of the first names on Brendan’s starting lineup. He really has become a fans favourite due to his performances, and surprise, surprise, that form is now starting to attract the attention of clubs down south.

According to a reliable account on X, the German is impressing several clubs in the Premier League who are continuing to monitor his progress. That’s not really surprising as that’s what happens when players are successful at our club, and it’s something that will continue to happen for a very long time.

A laughable valuation of €10 million

Nicolas however is contracted to the club until 2029 and is going nowhere anytime soon, especially for the laughable valuation of €10 million. The cards are very much in the club’s hands when it comes to Nicolas’ situation. We won’t sell for the reported valuation, and neither should we.

We sold Jota for much more and Nicolas is producing better stats than our former Superstar from Portugal. If Nicolas continues to impress then any interested club better be willing to dig deep to land him. For the time being he’s going nowhere, as he still has much more to achieve at Celtic.

A Matt O’Riley reminder

And remember Matt O’Riley didn’t leave Celtic until the £30m figure was paid by Brighton, who will probably double their money on him. Nicolas Kuhn gets a huge chance to show what he can do at Celtic Park this evening against his former club RB Leipzig.
