Memphis Depay trained with Corinthians' squad for the first time this season on Tuesday, while defender Cacá began treatment for an abdominal muscle strain ahead of the Santos match.

According to Meu Timao, Dorival Júnior had Depay involved with the group as preparations began for Thursday's Campeonato Paulista trip to Santos.

The Dutch forward has not played since the Copa do Brasil final on 21 December 2025 at the Maracanã, when he scored the decisive second goal in a 2-1 win over Vasco. Since pre-season began on 5 January, he had worked indoors at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on physical recovery and strength.

He was diagnosed with bone oedema in his left knee in late November 2025. Although he returned for last season's finals, the staff adopted a tailored plan to prevent further issues, and he remains in a muscular rebalancing phase despite rejoining group work.

Cacá, who started the 3-0 defeat by Red Bull Bragantino last Thursday, missed Sunday's 1-1 draw with São Paulo and is now with the medical department.

Corinthians will be without both for the next fixture, away to Santos at Vila Belmiro at 19:30 on Thursday, in round four of the Campeonato Paulista.
