Free since terminating his contract with OGC Nice at the end of August, Billal Brahimi could be on the verge of an unexpected turning point in his career. The Algerian winger has received an enticing offer from Santos FC, Neymar's current club.

According to journalist Nabil Djellit, the Brazilian club wants to sign Billal Brahimi on a free transfer to bolster its squad in the fight to avoid relegation. In this context, an offer has already been submitted to the Fennec. Currently sitting 16th in the league with 22 points from 21 matches, Santos—having seen Neymar return last February—is looking to inject fresh blood to avoid a historic relegation.
