Mexico and Uruguay played out a goalless stalemate in a physical friendly showdown Saturday evening.

Physicality was the name of the game at the Estadio Corona on the night, despite both sides putting out strong lineups rife with attacking talent.
Perhaps the best chance of the occasion fell to young phenom Gilberto Mora, who saw his trivela attempt from the right-wing fly just wide of the post.
The dying minutes of the affair descended into chaos as the referee lost control of the very chippy match.
Next up for Mexico is a showdown with Paraguay, while Uruguay will travel north to take on the United States.
